An overview of the most important rules

Allgemeines

  1. The apartment and its furnishings must be treated with care. As a guest, you are generally responsible for cleaning the premises yourself. Cleaning equipment is provided in the apartment. Additionally, we offer regular professional cleaning services as an extra service.
  2. To prevent mould formation, regular ventilation is mandatory – especially after showering.
  3. Windows and doors must be closed when leaving the apartment, radiators or underfloor heating should be turned down, and lights and electronic devices should be switched off.
  4. The removal of actuators/valves, or any other alterations to the heating system's existing technology, as well as adjusting the preset values on the control system, is prohibited.
  5. Altering the property by attaching materials is not allowed. The guest is liable for any resulting damage.
  6. The use and introduction of personal heaters and fan heaters of any kind is prohibited.
  7. Please report any damages that may occur to info@saar-chalets.de. The guest is liable for the cost of replacement.
  8. Quiet times, such as midday rest (1-3 pm) and night rest (from 10 pm to 6 am, or until 8 am on Sundays), must be observed.
  9. Internet access is free of charge. The login details are posted in the apartment's hallway. Routers must not be disconnected from the power or main connection. 
  10. There is a strict no-smoking policy throughout the entire building (including the apartments), which also applies to e-cigarettes. Smoking is only permittedin the designated outdoor area. Cigarette butts must be disposed of properly, and the smoking area must always be kept clean.
  11. The host/landlord and their agents/cleaning personnel have the right to access the apartment, especially in cases of emergency.
  12. Waste should be sorted into organic, paper, residual, and plastic waste (the bins are labeled). Glass should not be disposed of in the building’s waste bins but should be collected and deposited in public glass containers (information on the location of the nearest glass container can be found on a notice in the building). The city of Saarbrücken imposes fines for improper disposal of waste.

Before check-out / departure

Upon departure, all bins should be emptied. Waste, food scraps, and harmful liquids should not be disposed of in the shower, toilet, or sink.

The kitchen should be returned in a clean condition. (Dishware, pots, microwave, oven, coffee machine, etc., should be left clean.)

The apartment must be handed over broom-clean by 10 am on the day of departure.
